1) Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using our apps (“Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). You are responsible for all activity that occurs on your device(s) in relation to the Services.
3) License & Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal or internal business purposes, subject to applicable law and these Terms. You must not: reverse engineer, decompile, copy or distribute content/code without permission; circumvent security; misuse the Services; or infringe third-party rights.
4) Intellectual Property
All rights in and to the apps, code, UI/UX, artwork, text, audio/metadata, and other content belong to Delegant Tech or its licensors. You may not use our names, logos, or trademarks without our prior written consent.
5) Privacy & Data
We follow a privacy-first approach (minimal permissions, encrypted handling, transparent policies). Details of what we collect and how we use it are set out in our Privacy Policy (separate page). We do not sell personal data. Some features rely on third-party services that apply their own terms.
6) Features; Online/Offline Behaviour
Many features work online and certain core features may function offline via smart caching/limited offline use. Some content, updates, or verification require internet connectivity. Network and data charges are your responsibility.
7) Multi-Language & Global Use
Our apps support multiple languages and may include translations for convenience. In case of any inconsistency, the English version of these Terms and in-app content will govern.
8) Updates & Service Changes
We may release updates and modify, add, or remove features. The Services may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or due to platform or policy changes.
9) Purchases & Subscriptions (if applicable)
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by the relevant app store (e.g., Google Play / App Store) and are subject to that store’s billing, cancellation, and refund rules. Taxes may apply.
10) Support
We aim to provide reasonable support, but response times are not guaranteed. For assistance, email info@deleganttech.com.
11) Warranties Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or that the Services will meet your specific expectations. You use the Services at your own risk to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Delegant Tech will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits, data loss, business interruption, goodwill harm, or similar). In all cases, our total direct liability will not exceed the lesser of:
- the amount you paid for the Services in the preceding 12 months, or
- ₹5,000.
These limits apply regardless of the legal theory and to the fullest extent permitted in your jurisdiction.
13) Devotional/Religious Content — Respect, Errors & Corrections
a) Respect & Intent: Our devotional apps are created with respect for all faiths and traditions. We do not intend to offend or misrepresent any scripture or practice.
b) Human Error Possible: Text, transliteration/translation, line-breaks, and audio-to-text sync may contain inadvertent errors. Our apps are aids for reading/listening and do not replace official/authoritative sources.
c) Report an Issue: If you notice any error or inappropriate rendering, please email info@deleganttech.com with details (scripture/granth, section/shabad/ang, exact line, language/script, and—if sync related—timestamp/screenshot).
d) Our Response: We will verify and—where appropriate—issue a correction or clarification in a reasonable timeframe via content updates or app releases.
e) Variants: Translations and textual variants may exist across traditions or schools. Where conflicts arise, the user-selected language/script may be given preference within the app.
f) Liability Context: Clause 12 (Limitation of Liability) applies to any claims connected to devotional/religious content.
14) Third-Party Links & Services
The Services may link to or rely on third-party content or tools (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, cloud, media). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices; their terms and privacy policies apply.
15) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the app(s). On termination, your license ends immediately.
16) Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer laws, courts in Ludhiana, Punjab will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to the Services.
17) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the latest version took effect. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
