1) Scope
This Policy applies to Delegant Tech’s mobile applications across Android, iOS, tablets, and TV platforms. Certain features rely on third-party SDKs/services that have their own terms and privacy policies.
2) Information We Collect
- Technical & device data: device model, OS version, app version, language/region, and basic device capabilities.
- Usage & performance data: screen views, events, feature usage, session duration, and anonymized analytics to improve the product.
- Crash & diagnostics: error logs and performance metrics used to identify and fix issues.
- Offline caching data: content/audio/lyrics and related items may be temporarily cached on the device to enable limited offline functionality.
- Support/feedback (optional): information you send via email or in-app feedback (e.g., descriptions, screenshots).
- Payments (if applicable): in-app purchases/subscriptions are processed by app stores; Delegant Tech does not store card or bank details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health, biometrics, political opinions).
3) How We Use Information
- To operate the app, deliver features (online and limited offline), and optimize the user experience.
- To improve performance, security, and reliability (e.g., resolve crashes, enhance speed and battery usage).
- To plan and ship updates, improvements, and new features.
- To comply with legal requirements and prevent abuse where necessary.
4) Permissions (minimum necessary)
- Internet: for content, updates, and sync.
- Storage/Cache: to enable offline/fast loading via temporary files.
- Notifications: to send alerts or reminders (only if you allow).
- Media/Audio/Foreground service (if required): for audio playback and sync.
Each permission’s purpose is disclosed in-app. You may revoke permissions in your OS settings (note: some features may stop working).
5) Online/Offline Behavior
Many apps offer limited offline use via smart caching. Some content, verification, or updates require an internet connection. Offline cache resides on the device and may be cleared by the app or the operating system.
6) Ads, Analytics & Third-Party SDKs (if used)
- Advertising (minimal, if applicable): ad networks may access device identifiers, approximate location, or usage insights under their policies.
- Analytics/Crash tools: collect anonymized events and diagnostics to improve the app.
- Media/Cloud/CDN: deliver content and sync features.
Delegant Tech does not sell personal data. Third-party providers receive only limited, purpose-bound access under contractual privacy and security obligations.
7) Data Sharing & Disclosure
We may share data with:
- Service providers (analytics, crash reporting, hosting, push, CDN) for specific purposes;
- Law enforcement or regulators when legally required;
- A successor entity in the event of a merger/acquisition, subject to applicable law and notice.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
8) International Transfers
Data may be processed/stored outside India (e.g., on cloud/CDN infrastructure). We apply commercially reasonable safeguards (access controls, contractual protections).
9) Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and data-minimization principles. While no system is 100% secure, we implement best-effort safeguards to protect your information.
10) Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary for service, security, legal, or analytics purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Offline cache may be cleared per app/OS rules.
11) Your Choices & Rights
- Access/Correction/Deletion: request via email (include the app name in the subject).
- Withdraw consent: manage notifications/permissions in OS settings.
- Opt-out (ads/analytics): if provided, use in-app toggles/links or OS-level settings.

12) Children
Our apps are not intended for children under 13 (unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific app). If you believe we collected data from a child under 13, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
13) Cookies & Similar Technologies
Mobile apps typically do not use web cookies; however, SDKs may use device identifiers or similar technologies (for ads/analytics/crash). Our website, if used, may use cookies—see site-specific disclosures.
14) Devotional Content — Accuracy & Corrections
Devotional text/translation/sync may contain inadvertent human errors. The accuracy and correction process is described in our Terms & Conditions. If you notice an error, please email info@deleganttech.com with details (scripture/granth, section/shabad/ang, exact line, language/script, and—if sync-related—timestamp/screenshot).
15) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the latest version took effect. Continued use after an update signifies acceptance of the revised Policy.
